I subbed for a new teacher today – in social studies. He had 270 (according the kids. I assume they know. I did not count. The ones pictures are NOT all of them – they are all over the room) bobble heads. My favorite was of Governor Walz – autographed by the Governor with thanks to the teacher for all of his help. Nice.
We went to a new theater tonight. Theater Latte Da is celebrating their first 99 shows with a cabaret of songs they have done over the past 26 seasons. The first act had a few wrong notes…I would have called a couple of the soloists a bit pitchy and one guy downright a disaster. Neither of us knew his tune, though, and we granted the idea that maybe the song was supposed to sound like that? The second act was sooooo much better. I am looking forward to their season – interesting shows abound.
