We went to Cub to buy crackers on the night before Halloween and I insisted Keith get another punkin. He likes carving and for $6 he could have another one. He said he did NOT have any time – so much working and doing all the other things, but I insisted that he could just do it tonight – after everything was ready for us to leave on vacation tomorrow.
So he did. And he liked it. 🙂
I went to the backyard gathering, indoors this morning (in a meeting room at the grocery store. I didn’t know that existed. Just sign up. How nice). The politically oriented people wanted to get together before Tuesday. It was suggested that we don’t just talk about the horrible things happening and the HORRIBLE things we think will happen if Kamala doesn’t win, but that is all we talked about. And we ate chocolate. I volunteered to take home extra chocolate that people wanted to not take home, because I figure Alexander is always game for candy. We got some Twix and they are inexplicably labelled Left and Right. What? What does that mean? I figured I could ask the computer but I am going to just go with not knowing. It’s not that I don’t care. I just don’t care very much.
