Wonderland

Thursday, September 29, 2022 (Happy Birthday, nephew William)

We went to the Bloomington Center for the Arts tonight to see Collide Theatrical Dance Company perform Wonderland – a narrated show about mental health with Alice in Wonderland characters. I thought it was spectacular. It was in a black box theater and we were in the second row, so we were up close and could see the expressions of the dancers so well. It was about a doctor working with “mad” patients – and it was really very similar to being in my 5th hour. Okay, not exactly, but trying to balance the emotions and the needs rang very, very familiar to me. All of the dancers were terrific, but the White Rabbit caught both Keith and I and he was our favorite. He reminded me of David Rose (Schitt’s Creek) (Daniel Levy) and the first thing Keith said when the house lights came up was, “The bunny was a copy of David Rose.” I like when my thoughts are confirmed.

We walked through the art gallery on our way out, hence the picture of the day is art. There were six artists showing, and I liked all of the ones by one artist. I find that confirming as well.
