Sometimes it is time for kids to color maps. If those kids are 10th graders and the map is a color-by-number type deal where they do not have to look anything up or do anything other than color, it leaves me with absolutely nothing to do. There were two bins of colored pencils, as well as markers, to choose from and I busied myself by sharpening ALL of the pencils in one bin. It was very satisfying.
(Okay, I didn’t sharpen the white ones because they were all pretty sharp and no one EVER uses them)
Always nice to just see results… Kind of like mowing the lawn….

There is nothing like coloring on a white sheet of paper with a white crayon or pencil.
