Melting is happening. The giant sheet of ice covering the pool cover is starting to melt. One corner gets more sun than any other part of the pool and the ice was getting thin there. Keith broke it open and put the pump into the water. The pump is about 10inches tall and you can see that it is mostly submerged. I suspect that it will just keep pumping as more and more of the ice melts. It’s better when the water is in the pool, instead of on the pool. We’ve had the pool ready for swimming on May 1st every year. Less than a month to go!!
Let’s hear it for getting people in the water in the pool….
