Maren and I were out practice walking for our upcoming trip to Disney World (let’s face it – I’ve been sedentary since my heart went wonky 2.5 years ago. I was just assuming I would be able to walk around Disney World because I wanted to…then I realized that was really NOT going to happen. Today was day two of walking. I was happy I got out of bed this morning without being damaged in some way). She pointed and said, “Look! They have a slide off their deck.” I stopped and said, “They are living the dream!”
Who didn’t dream of having a slide somewhere in or on their house, zooming them from their bedroom to the kitchen, or the deck to the backyard?! Nobody!!
I snapped the picture, then focused better and corrected myself, “They were living the dream. The slide is broken.”
You know what that means, right? ADULTS were sliding and broke the slide. Way to go, adults! But also, WAY TO GO, ADULTS!
Even better if the slide from the bedrooms to the kitchen has fiber optic lights. Tom’s sister Pam designs and builds homes in Arizona. We visited one of her first spec homes about 30 years ago and loved that slide.
