Well, they murdered that one to death.
We went to see the spoof of an Agatha Christie play at the Phipps. It was not good. I thought it would have been better if it was better written and better acted. Keith thought it would have been fine if it was just better acted. Really only two of the players were bad. One was horrible, the other one was really bad. If the horrible one hadn’t been the first murder victim, we would have had to leave at intermission.
The set was nice.
We had front row seats and were the first ones there.
At least the set designer gets an “A.” That really DOES look terrific. They had better find a better acting troupe….
Thinking about it today, the rest of the cast really was quite good. Maybe the murder victim was a last minute substitute
Or maybe the rest of the troupe wanted to include everyone, even the worst actor of the bunch, so they made him or her the murder victim to get them off the stage as soon as possible.
As they say, “anything is possible!”
