Still Hot

We got a virtual queue spot first thing for Guardians of the Galaxy. We were on and off by 10am, so the day was a success early.

The others were having a relaxing pool day, and we ended up having a relaxing park day.

I played with water. A bunch of people watched me, and applauded me, but didn’t join me. Mmmm. I thought if I paved the way, everyone would just join in. Nope. Huh.

We took my sister-in-law’s advice and had pizza at a new restaurant in EPCOT. I want to know how to make that crust!

I ran into Mickey and Pooh. It is always nice to see familiar faces. Pooh was doing some yard work – such hard work for such a hot day. (At 7pm, I noticed it said it was 92° – feels like 107°)

I solved my problem with having some not-so-good 3D glasses times. I’ve always put them ON top of my glasses. I tried reversing them, and it worked wonderfully. Ta-da.

We switched hotels and joined our friends at the Polynesian. I enjoyed the gorgeous view from their balcony – when standing I could see the lake and Space Mountain and the castle in the distance. When sitting, I could see a 1×8 board. Perhaps someone could have tested out the height of the chairs….

We went to ‘Ohana for dinner. The food was excellently tasty, but it is no longer meat on skewers being delivered to your table as you want it, but everything is served family style. There were no coconut races for the kids. There was no peanut sauce (we have a nut allergy in our group, so we wouldn’t have had it, but it is Benjamin’s favorite and he would have been devastated).

The kids have taught me to pin trade, so we go around checking pin boards. I was studying the pins behind the counter when Keith asked if I had seen the Tiki guy. Nope.

We watched the Halloween party fireworks from our beach. They are so much better than this picture makes them look.
