We went to Artistry Theater’s concert Some Enchanted Evening (but we went to the matinee, so afternoon) (We scheduled the matinee months ago because we assumed it would be winter and it would be nicer to drive to Bloomington in the daytime snow than in the nighttime snow. Because of our recent non-winter weather, we were very surprised to come out to an iced-over car and icy roads. We had a very slow drive home – but no incidents or accidents, so all was good.)
The concert was terrific. It was all Rodgers and Hammerstein music, many woven together by five very talented singers and two terrific piano players. I enjoyed every bit of it very much.
Our friend, Jeffrey, came over with his little daughter tonight just for a visit. We couldn’t have been happier. She is just a jewel – it’s an absolute delight to watch her play. She dances – just a little – when our wiggly light up Christmas tree plays. She learned right away how to turn it on. She is a very clever girl.
