There is a competition in England called Brass in Concert. Brass bands have 30 minutes to play whatever they want to entertain the audience for 30 minutes. Because the goal is to entertain, it is very entertaining. Friends Mike and Mary came, and we watched and listened to the top six bands on the brass band channel. None of us picked the winner that the judges picked. We had dinner and talked and played a game and LAUGHED and joyfully welcomed the new year.
I remembered to take the potd after they tried to leave. I got ’em because they had to scrape ice (winter might be actually starting. Ew).
