I indulged in a few cookies for breakfast. We went to John’s Root Beer stand for lunch. It was raining, but we scored a table under the eaves. We had our dogs (chili, sloppy joe, and sauerkraut), plus cheese curds and ultimate fries (chili, cheese, onions, and jalapenos), regular and diet root beers. Everything just hit the spot and we were just enjoying a special time. We all remembered my mom and how much she liked to go to John’s
Then we went to the fruit truck and got a case of blueberries and cherries. And then ate blueberries and cherries.
We played Racko and ate tortilla chips, because it had been minutes since we had eaten.
David, Jayne, Michael, Donna, and Emma came, and we had ponza rotta – pastries filled with cheese and whatever. Keith had Philly beef, and the rest of us used pizza toppings. Delicious. Jayne baked chocolate chip cookies and somehow those were all eaten.
We just played Clue and had bienenstichkuchen custard from the freezer.
Vacation is fun.
