My 60 birthday tulips have just brought such a bright happiness to our house. We never have fresh flowers, because for most of the time we have had kitties. Kitties like to put their hands in vases, which makes the vases fall over. Some kitties like when the water comes out (I’m looking at you, Sophie); some kitties do not. We stopped having flowers because it was easier on the vases and on the kitties. You get out of the habit of something and it just doesn’t come back.
And then someone gives you flowers and you just enjoy the heck out of them. I even gave them a photo shoot with a wrinkly tablecloth. It was so much fun. They loved it.
These make for smiles all the way over here in Michigan!
