Who knew?
Keith was asked to sub in a big band playing at the Mall of America. He asked if there would be a rehearsal. Nope. Just show up and play.
That kind of stuff weirds me out. I could never. But then, I could never be in a band anyway, so it is beside the point. He was supposed to wear a blue tie and a dark suit jacket. He has neither, so he wore his Cory Band tie (red/blue stripes) and no jacket. You can find him in the picture, because he is the guy without a jacket.
We got there and I scored a seat on a bench. The benches were in a semi circle, far away from the band stand. I thought they could have brought out some chairs or something, because there was a lot of space and there were quite a few people more than half an hour before they even started. Well. There was a reason. The people were there to dance – and the big space was the dance floor.
It was fun to watch people dance. I had assumed I would walk around the mall a bit, but I was entertained by the music and the dancers.
I’m guessing you were not there on lock down shooter day !
Luckily, that was Thursday. Won’t lie – Keith said I’m going there tomorrow and I said noooo! Then I got over it
Can’t beat a dancing band. There is no end to Keith’s talents . 🙂
I agree!
