A day with no plans

What a glorious thing a day with no plans is. There is so much potential!

I quickly learned that the day wasn’t completely without plan – Keith had a 9am rehearsal in River Falls. I decided to go along with him so we could listen to our audiobook and I would get an eggamuffin (because I said get me an eggamuffin on the way). I haven’t gone to this band’s rehearsal since his local friend joined the band almost two years ago and they have been riding together. Today I sat with my eggamuffin and oatmeal and listened to them read charts for their Christmas concert. It is going to be a good concert. I was feeling very festive and jolly.

The Wickerts texted to see if we were available to come for dinner. We were available! How great!

We stopped at Cub to buy pudding stuff ingredients, because tomorrow is a birthday and pudding stuff must be made.

We cooked pizza for lunch, made tomato soup out of tomatoes, and took a nap.

We had a wonderful picnic table meal with Sue and Peter, then we went inside and played Qwixx. I won the first game with a rocking score of 95! I was feeling pretty special. Keith won the second game with 111. Yeah, well, whatever. 🙂

Now it is night and it is COLD outside (61) (61!!!!!!). I am going to turn the fan on low and sleep and sleep and sleep in the chilliness! Hurray!
