We slept well on the square bed, enjoyed the Jetsons feeling of showering in an acrylic tube, and watched it pour down rain during a leisurely breakfast before walking over to the airport (and the rain almost stopped by then). We got bumped up to Comfort + because the configuration of the plane was different because of the broken computer world. Win for us. We watched Arthur the King, Wicked Little Letters, and Everything Everywhere All At Once, and I watched One Life (Anthony Hopkins saved 669 kids out of Nazi Czechoslovakia) and we were landed! Unfortunately, we were early and our gate was not available. We ended up getting to the gate almost half an hour after we should have gotten there.
Shout out to Alexander – who was rewarded with wine gums – for picking us up. He ended up waiting more than an hour – because of that tarmac business. He also was taking care of the pool while we were gone. Also, a big thank you to Maren who reallllllly stepped up and watered plants. I thought it was going to rain more, but she came over a gazillion times. It makes it possible to travel when you have people at home willing to pick up your slack (and yourself). We appreciate you SO MUCH!!
