It’s time for our holly, jolly participation in the POTD! The theme of day one is Home for the Holidays! Take a picture inspired by home for the holidays and send it to me – text or email – or [email protected] by 10pm December 1 and it will be in that day’s blog. If you want to remain anonymous, let me know – otherwise I will give you credit. You don’t have to play every day – any day or every day is fine! We will count down the days to Christmas together!

There isn’t a better way to start the Christmas season than with a viewing of the Muppet Christmas Carol with live music played by the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra. We went to the Bradley Symphony Center downtown Milwaukee. The beautiful art deco building was built as the Warner Grand Theater and opened in 1931. The MSO bought the building in 2017 and moved there as their home in 2021. Being in the beautiful building made our evening even more festive.
I think I would like a silver ceiling.
Sometimes you open the bottom.
Benjamin wished we were sitting upstairs by the big art. I liked the light fixtures.
We always need a little more direction than just “stand by the tree, I’ll take your picture.”
This one was after Keith said, “Stop spinning!”
Benjamin and Sean came over to join Keith, Nancy, and I. After the show, we went to Kopp’s for a late-night treat.
This would be a great idea for next December by the Minnesota Orchestra!
I’d happily see it again
