We cooked dinner with ingredients tonight. It has been a while. I am working on eating up stuff in the freezer – which so far since we’ve been home from vacation has meant eating the ends of bags of chicken tenders and fish sticks and random other stuff. Today’s item was a small amount of spaghetti sauce that I combined with leftover mozzarella from pizza making the other day and some pan fried chicken breasts. It was actually quite lovely. We finished off season two of The Outlaws and dinner by 7:00, so I suggested a convertible ride. It was still 80 degrees, so we went south and rode around Cottage Grove a little. Keith purposely turned all the wrong ways – the directions we don’t usually go and we ended up … somewhere…at a park. We could tell that through the trees there was nothing – we must be on a hill – so we parked and walked up the trail until we could see out. It was a lovely view, but the best part was in the picture below.
