Every year while I decorate the Christmas tree, I wish someone was there with me – admiring ornaments, chatting with me, halving the number of ornaments I am putting on the tree. This year I got my wish! Since I am working all of this week and things are happening quite regularly, I decided I wanted to zoom ahead with my Christmas-ing and put the tree up early. Donna almost single handedly decorated the snowman tree (my mom liked snowmen and I inherited all of her snowman ornaments, as well as her Christmas tree, so I have a lovely little snowman tree now) and did a ton of the regular tree. What a total treat for me!!
Lookin’ good! We got our tree yesterday. It’s awaiting decorating (nice rhyme, huh?)…. Maybe later today….
“got our tree” sounds like you have a real tree. Ours is (obviously) fake. Donna and I were out smelling real ones yesterday – hard to beat that!
