Keith just went off on his own this morning. He took his bent trumpet to be repaired. His repairman friend is in Red Wing, so it was an hour away. He has never been to the shop and he said it was so interesting – FILLED with instruments. You never know when you might need parts or have time to make the old new again.
After lunch, he met friend Brian for lunch at King’s. King’s has FOUR full pages of burger choices and is well-known to be really good. We’ve never been there because it is across the street from Wiederholt’s Supper Club and that will always be our choice. Keith’s burger was reported to be very good: it was called The Tourney and had apple and pineapple chunks, pico de gallo, garlic aioli, crispy onions, and sweet chili sauce.
I stayed home in my new jammies. They are really good jammies. They go for a ride in the washing machine with nearly every load we do.
We saw Wicked: For Good and good it was. We both enjoyed it so much. Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo are both stupendous. We bought a monthly pass to the Alamo theater because we have 5 movies to see right now. Maybe we will have time to see Wicked again. I think it would be great the second time, too.
