The scary frogs (well, frog) are now inside the house. In the dining room, to be specific.
I was packing my lunch in my backpack this morning and suddenly there was terror. The frog started hopping around. I screamed. Keith called down from the bedroom. I was frozen, afraid the frog would hop away and DISAPPEAR (hidden frogs are so. much. worse. They can surprise you at any moment. Frog surprise is not good). I told Keith to bring a phone to take a picture and to come to get the frog.
He showed up with no phone. I sent him back. He returned and took a picture. He was moderately terrified of the frog, too. I know this because he tossed him onto the deck. If he wasn’t afraid, he would have set him on the deck. I know that is how fear works.
Apparently, when we dragged the potted plants in last night before frostiness happened, this frog came too. I made Keith look all through my backpack, because if there was a frog in my backpack I would never recover.
AAAAUUUUGGGGHHHHHHHH!
There are more plants downstairs. I told Keith to go down and to look for frogs. He said he did. I still am not sure I can go down there again. Ever.
Frogs are actually pretty friendly little folks, although understandably kind of afraid of us. Glad Keith was able to get this little guy back out into the outdoors. S/he was probably pretty weirded out and scared in the house anyway.
You are entirely correct. And I am afraid of them. For no reasonable reason at all
I, too, am glad that the home invasion was successfully dealt with. Thanks for inspiring another fun internet search. I indulged in a little whimsy and typed in “frog-away.” It turned up this spot-on article:

Too bad there’s evidently not a product named “Frog-Away,” but good to know I can stop spending so much time carefully crafting my search terms.😊
Oh my goodness I read frogs attract snakes and add to stop!!! It’s a good thing I am planning to forget that immediately
