When the boys were middle sized, they really liked this movie. They particularly liked every time when Teddy Roosevelt ran up the stairs (San Juan hill) yelling charge. I wonder how many times they watched it. The Phipps performance tonight was very good – all the actors were well cast.
The Wickerts were there! The play runs for almost a month and it was such a coincidence that we chose the same showing. I am always a little surprised that we don’t ever run into anyone we know when we go places, but then I am more surprised when we run into people we know when we go places!
Marge and I were supposed to attend last weekend, but I was tending to my Dad, so she exchanged the tickets for this weekend. She had to go out of town, but I figured I’d take Mark to it tonight. This morning I got an email from the Phipps asking how I liked the show, which is when I realized that the tickets were for LAST night! It would have been a party!!
Oh!!!! That would have been wild! So sorry you missed the show
Call the Phipps. They’ll still most likely just switch you to another day.
