Monday, August 7, 2023 We didn’t see the super popular movies as a double feature, but we have now seen them both. I don’t think my brain was working quite right when I saw Barbie. I thought it was visually adorable, but the story confused me and I wasn’t sure if I like it or

Sunday, August 6, 2023 We got together with members of the Mississippi River Brass Band today. MRBB (yes, I call it Mr. BB) is planning a trip to France next July. The leader of the group told us all about the planned itinerary and I am ready to pack my bags. Everyone voted to not

Saturday, August 5, 2023 Our small neighbor is starting to learn to play the trumpet. She came over a couple of weeks ago because she had not had success at the “try an instrument” day at school. She wasn’t able to buzz on the mouthpiece on her first try, so she came for advice. Keith

Friday, August 4, 2023 I have lived within a block of these two cars for over 30 years. I think. I know I have lived within a block of this house for that long, and for as long as I can remember, two (actually, for most of the time there were three) old cars have

I rarely think about what the potd might be, but this afternoon while my sister and I were grocery shopping, I thought we would take a picture of our five siblings. Nope. I didn’t remember

Monday, July 30, 2023 It was Orange Dream and Butter Pecan at Kopp’s today, so it was a must go. Nancy and I have a perfect system of splitting a hamburger with the works, extra pickles, and raw onions. We each could eat a burger, and they are sooooo good, but we know we need

Sunday, July 30, 2023 We packed up almost everything we own to drive to Wisconsin to visit my sisters and brothers for a couple days. Keith went to do pool chemicals and the cover wouldn’t open more than half way. It was the first time we’d tried it since they installed the new cover parts.

Saturday, July 29, 2023 I had a very hard time picking a single potd, so you are getting several. I guess it isn’t unusual to get several, but I feel like the first half of the day was so long ago that it seems like another day. We went to the Ren in the Glen
