Saturday, July 8, 2023 Our plan when we moved here was to have more gatherings. Pandemic sorta took the wind out of sails and we lost track of that a bit. Keith has been playing in the After Hours Big Band for years and we have never had a gathering, so we decided it was

Friday, July 7, 2023 I got lots of support today because of yesterday’s post about my life being a lie. I heard several theories (it seems very possible that Raiders came out very early in Waukesha as a test market and I was therefore able to see it at the budget theater before other people

Thursday, July 6, 2023 I learned last night that I have been living a lie. I am confounded and jarred and can think of little else. I read a lot of advice columns for recreation and I have read about how people struggle with learning that something they thought was true turned out not to

Friday, June 30, 2023 I read the book Die With Zero by Bill Perkins last year. Basically, it said people save and save and save for retirement, and then continue to save because that is what they are used to. They continue to worry that they will not have enough money to live on before

Thursday, June 29, 2023 Keith always talked about picking black caps when he was a kid. I thought his family had made up a name for blackberries, because black caps were not a thing I had ever heard of. I never said anything about it, because I figured if he thought the name was black
