Thursday, September 7, 2023 I was housewifing today. I roasted tomatoes for tomato soup. I cooked bacon for BLTs. I cleaned up from making chili rellenos last night. I did laundry (and PUT it away). I scrubbed up big pans. I took a nap in the hot tub. Oh. That last one isn’t so housewifey.

Tuesday, September 5, 2023 The air conditioning fixing man came today and found a mouse that had fried itself and burned up a bunch of air conditioner controls while doing it. We needed some parts and some labor and then the air conditioning was working! We ran it for about half an hour – 3:30-4:00
Monday, September 4, 2023 Happy Labor Day! We invited friends over for brisket and floating and air conditioning (because their house doesn’t have duct work and therefore doesn’t have A/C) for our third nearly 100-degree day.
