That’s not Keith’s cornet case. I thought it was adorable.
We went for dinner at a supper club (filet mignon is the Monday night special – sooooo good) before rehearsal. Everyone at brass band was very enthusiastic about our return, and it really didn’t seem like it was just the cupcakes they were excited to see. 🙂 I was very excited to see everyone.
Keith has a feature-y piece to play (Legacy. Keith believes Ian Roberts is the first to have recorded it, and we met him at a concert in Wales. That’s fun) and they are doing a very cool piece called Windows of the World (by Peter Graham). I really liked it and look forward to hearing it again in rehearsal and in performance.

Super welcome home to the brass band.
Has Keith thought about introducing Coryography to the band?
They had two tunes that they moved around the stage, but no coryograohy! I will tell Keith to try to motivate them a bit…
Nice photos – and I’m sure ALL the cupcakes were enthusiastically welcomed! Hope Keith has fun being with the STBB again.
He was definitely enjoying himself. He was a bit disappointed when he realized he’d brought a piccolo mouthpiece instead of a soprano mouthpiece 😃
