We didn’t see the super popular movies as a double feature, but we have now seen them both. I don’t think my brain was working quite right when I saw Barbie. I thought it was visually adorable, but the story confused me and I wasn’t sure if I like it or not. I am willing to see it again sometime. I bet I like it a lot better the second time. Oppenheimer was a really well crafted film. It was about so much more than the Manhattan Project, which is probably why they didn’t call it The Manhatten Project. Oppenheimer had several timelines woven together very cleverly. I look forward to Robert Downey Jr being nominated for awards next awards season, because it will be fun to see him on all the talk shows.
