The long-awaited milestone birthday is finally almost here. Donna and Michael came! I am having a birthday party. I think it is my first birthday party ever. I don’t remember ever having a party, but I am quite old and may have forgotten.

The thing is… It really is something to celebrate on lots of fronts… We’ve been lucky enough to know both of you since you were 20! It’s a good start – happy birthday again…. Let’s go for another 40 years of fun!

I had one party guest cautiously ask how old I was and said she was very surprised – but thought since I was having a party it must be a 0 birthday. I regularly tell middle schoolers I am 108 – and they believe me – so it’s all just relative 🙂
