Circus

Thursday, December 12. 2024

Our friend, Carla, coordinator of adventures, suggested we go to the Circus Juventas (a St. Paul circus school) Christmas show. We went for Mexican food first, then on with the show. It was super fun. At one point, I whispered, “that looks dangerous,” then laughed, because it ALL looked dangerous. These are kids!

The jugglers were fairly lame and droppy. We admit to being very judgy about that.

We have two lost pictures that have been found. First up, Tuba Santa from Jerry and Barbara

Next, a first time sender, Carla, and her family cookie brigade – 61 dozen in three hours (they cut back this year)

It’s time for our holly, jolly participation in the POTD! The theme of day twelve is the Nativity! Send me a picture of or inspired by the baby and his parents or even just camels – text or email – or [email protected] by 10pm December 13 and it will be in that day’s blog. If you want to remain anonymous, let me know – otherwise I will give you credit. You don’t have to play every day – any day or every day is fine! We will count down the days to Christmas together!

It was the coldest day of the season this morning – it was below zero most of the day here. Here is cold, by Louise, Daniel, Donna, Julie, Barbara, Keith, and me. Thanks to everyone for sending pictures – it is so exciting to get them!!!

Cold but pretty
Cold and going to work (sad face)
No watching the neighbors today
That lake looks frozen, but don’t walk on it! People keep falling in!
Cold AND snow in Michigan
Keith actually had something shipped to him today that was packed with dry ice
I got the soda in from the garage before it froze solid
