I woke up early. I read. I went back to sleep. I read. I got up and made pancakes. I read. I went back to sleep. I read. Keith finished arranging the music for How to Train Your Dragon for Metro Brass. We had spaghetti and watched a Christmas movie. This is how it is the day after a party, when everything is done and cleaned up.
The POTD is a magical Hamm’s beer sign that was in the basement when I was growing up. I brought it home from my sister’s house at Thanksgiving to spread the magic to my house. I absolutely loved it when I was little, and it just fills me with joy to look at it now. The stars twinkle and then magically the sky says Hamm’s or shows beer glasses. I made sure it was out for everyone to see at the party last night and it is twinkling away now. I wish you could see it.
