Company for dinner

Sunday, November 24, 2024

We started the day with more crafting. Things really started to go better than they were last night, so that was great. The whole main level was covered with bits of paper, piles of paper, wads of paper, and everything you could use to cut, fold, glue, and bend paper. I wish I had taken a picture – but then the crafts would have shown, and the secrets would be out.

We tidied up in the afternoon and cooked some fajitas/tacos kind of food. It ended up using four little crockpots to keep things warm after we cooked early so we could visit with the company and not worry about cooking while they were here. It worked out pretty well. The grown-ups had a nice time to catch-up, but the Little Miss of the group was the most interesting part of the evening. She was busy cooking and reading and drawing and eating apples. What could be better than that?
