We had lunch and dashed away from Madison to get home in time for a show tonight. Keith thought it would be “fine” if we left by 2pm, but better if we left by 1:30. I thought we should leave by noon, but then I was barely up and showered by then. I was up, then I was asleep again, then I was talking to Benjamin, then it was 11:30.
Anyway, we left at 1:40. We got into stopped traffic twice, so we got home at 6pm. We needed to change, find and eat dinner, and be on our way by 6:15. Yay for us! We did it.
The guy playing Evan Hansen on this national tour is from St. Paul. There was a cute notice in the program from the Performing Arts High School giving him a shout out. I read about him in the paper. He did a great job and it felt special thinking that his mom was probably in the audience. Yay moms!
Tom, Stacy and I saw this show in Boston. We all thought it was great, but I think it’s really special for educators and anyone who works with middle schoolers.
I agree. From my perspective it rings very true
