Daniel sent me this picture this morning and it was right on target for today. I read that Preston (?) Minnesota set a heat record with a feels-like 120 degrees today. The dew point was 86, which is crazy. I only went outside to go in the pool. A big storm went through about 7:45 and knocked out power for tens of thousands of people, including Alexander. He said the sky was tornado green, then creepy orange, then STORM, then dark. He called to kill time while walking around outside, where it was cooler, and there were some streetlights. He was going to shower in the dark and sleep in the dark and call in birthday if his power is still off in the morning and his car is stuck in the garage. (He gets that you pull the handle and open the door by hand, but birthday!)
