Edina

It would have been my mom’s 93rd birthday today – Happy birthday, Mom! I’ve been thinking about you all day.

I subbed in my favorite room today for the first time this year. It was a complete delight. I literally couldn’t have been happier. We were doing two step equations with irritating negatives. Such fun.

Sheldon Theater Brass Band split a concert with the Edina High School band. It was really good. Keith had several little solo-y bits and he sounded good. The whole band sounded good in their beautiful auditorium. STBB came back at the end and played the last movement of the Holst First Suite with the kids and it was powerful. Keith is done subbing with them until next time – whenever that will be. He’s been playing since early this year, so it will be different not going to rehearsals on Monday nights. We’ll have to find something else to do! (Maybe we could just sit. Sitting can be so fun.)

When I came down from my after-school nap, there was a present from Benjamin on my keyboard (Keith assisted in the placement). Crunch coat from the internet!! You CAN just buy it. He is the best present buyer – such a good surprise-r! Thank you, TB!
