The vet called about 10am and said Eggy’s kidney function had normalized and that he could come home. He is okay! The bill was staggering, but you have to pay what you have to pay, I guess. The POTD is not from today, but it my favorite picture of Oatmeal and Eggs Benedict, brothers extraordinaire. It fits them – Oats in front, Eggy the quiet shadow in the back. They are such pretty kitties. Benjamin and Sean and kitties headed for home, only one day later than planned. I stayed home to see them off while Keith went to brass band rehearsal. Then I was home alone.
I am never home alone. I sat in a chair and read a good book, The Lover’s Dictionary. I wish I was as clever as that author, David Levithan.
