Peter and Sue came for game night and we practiced using our new pizza oven on them. 🙂 We have successfully made ourselves pizza twice, so we thought we were ready to serve guests. The pizzas were not as successful as when we did it before. (Of course not – there was company!) The dough raised very nicely – maybe too nicely – so the crusts were thicker – which turned out not quite as good. Keith read that turning the gas down while actually cooking the pizzas made it less likely to burn the edges, so he gave it a try. Mmmm. The pizzas cooked much more slowly and were not quite as crisp. Not a win. We were all full at the end, so that was a success. We played Stripes and Wavelength (which I always call Brain Waves) and there was much laughing, so that was a success, too!
