See that girl way on the right of that backstage door picture on Broadway? The one with the long, pretty curls? I know her dad!! He was a really good friend of mine in high school. He sent me a message that Sophia had booked an ensemble role in her first Broadway show – Good Night and Good Luck – starring George Clooney. He reported that George is a great leader and has made her feel…something. It was a text and sentence just ended, but I bet it was something good. At the first preview George gave Sophia a quick aside that it was both of their Broadway debuts that night. Thoughtful!!!
The whole family went to a preview show and Mom and Dad were there for opening night last night, including the black and white ball at the NYC Library afterward. I told him that he is living in a movie – just a bit part as the dad visiting from Wisconsin (insert cheesehead joke here), but STILL!
I am three degrees of separation from George Clooney! That puts me four steps from just about everyone! Woohoo
