Our brother Dave sent us a picture of a previous Nancy birthday this morning. He said he wasn’t sure what year it is from, but it wasn’t last year, because last year they went to a cool restaurant and the picture isn’t from there.
It snows on Nancy’s birthday. Almost always. So, we had a snow day from school because we got about 12 inches of snow last night. We had zero snow yesterday. I was supposed to work and didn’t want to because the sisters are here, so between that and it being Nancy’s birthday, we were definitely getting snow. None of us slept all night, wondering if they would call off school (it was an e-learning day), which they didn’t do until close to 5am.

The snow was already shrinking by dinner time.
We spent most of the day puzzling. This Harry Potter puzzle is beautiful with lots of gold accents, but the border is sincerely hard (because the pattern is just a repeat, so any of them could be right, and so many are so close to being the right one it is easy to get it wrong). We celebrated getting pieces together with lots of claps. We ate cinnamon rolls. Keith appeared periodically to get a bunch of pieces in. We had a little limoncello in tiny glasses because Donna had never had it. She did not think it was weak. We said it wasn’t supposed to be.

We had dinner at Olive Garden. I liked it a really lot. Salad, mmmm. Breadsticks, mmmm. Dinner was good, too, but probably superfluous.
We went to see Come From Away at the Ordway. That is why the sisters are here. It is my favorite show, and it is in town for Nancy’s birthday, so I told them to come. I loved it for the third time, and they loved it for the first time.
