From the Benjin last Thursday: My calendar says The Daddy is twice as old as Alexander (translated from brother speak) (he would never actually call Alexander Alexander) (but I can’t just write Alexander like he would have said it, because it breaks my brain) next Tuesday.
You should have a party.

From the Daddy: I usually do eat twice the food, so that checks out.

P.S. I asked Alexander to send a big face picture so the two birthday men could be in a picture together.
My friend Teresa and I roomed together while doing some math trainings in Baltimore. We were chatting one evening and learned that her husband’s birthday was our anniversary (August 18) AND my husband’s birthday was their anniversary (August 6). Interesting, right?
When I called Tom later that night, I shared the awesome anniversary/birthday fact. He replied, “Why would you even be talking about that?”
I should have called Benjamin.
