Today’s picture of the day is obviously the cast photo for the upcoming Quiby series Pool’s Gold: Where’s Benjamin? They were filming in our backyard, doing some outdoor shots before moving back into the studio (this is all lies).
In other news, we had a party, like we always do. People came. People brought food. It was magnificent. It was rainy at first and we hovered around inside, then people gradually headed outside. Some people did not come, because COVID is crap. Quite a few people couldn’t come because COVID is crap. At the end of the party, we packed up the only two disposable dishes we had with the very, very few leftovers we had and delivered them to some of our local COVID shut-ins. We put the food on the porch, rang the bell, and ran far away (GERMS!) They were truly pathetic little bowls, but the goodwill showed through and our COVID sufferers appreciated the thought.
A lovely thought to leave food on the doorstep. Thought of you on 4th July. Must say the pool looks very inviting. X
We thought it was hilarious how little we had to offer, but it was nice to have a distant visit!
