I definitely wore my pink rhinestone boots and my crown all day while teaching Algebra to 8th graders. It was great. I got a drawing of me checking off who turned in their assignment today. It is best.
I had some birthday cookies that Nancy made me.
I got cards in the mail! Such a treat (something I really miss since my mom is gone). Thanks, Carla and Jerry and Barbara! I got many texts and Facebook messages/posts. Wow. That feels so good!
I went out for an ice cream cone party with Keith and Maren.
I got a present from the front porch! There was just a box out there waiting to surprise me! How exciting! Thank you, Louise and Tom!

On to 63!!! Hope it’s another spectacular year. I thought the 62 one was pretty darned good myself….
