I just love Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II. She has done the work for over 70 years, seemingly without wavering. There is nothing I respect more than someone who does the right thing, and it seems to me she is the leader of that.
I love her hats, especially the diamond-y ones.
I love her smile. She reminds me of my mom.
I really, really hope she outdoes Louis XIV as longest reigning monarch, because he should not count since he started when he was 4. Being king at 4 doesn’t count.
May the Queen live an even longer, happy life.

We have just had 4 days of celebrations to mark the 70 th year of her reign.
Saturday we held a garden party here . Luckily the rain held off.
A friend of ours was dancing through London in the parade on Sunday. We managed to spot him on the television too. Great excitement.

In the US they showed so many of the celebrations. Gave me goosebumps during the flyover. Loved seeing everyone and her royal majesty. What a lady.
I watched as much as I could find. The video with Paddington was just darling!!!
That was a terrific day seeing the Queen’s dresses, being IN Buckingham Palace, touring the gardens, and eating Her Majesty’s ice cream! And look at you in yellow, looking positively royal. ❤️
Oh, the dresses! “Expect to spend one – two hours.” I think we looked at her wedding and coronation dresses for two hours alone. What a day!
