It was a happy Wednesday. We had a visit from our neighbors, Mark and Sue, and their kids (adults) visiting from London and San Fransisco. What could be better than seeing those kids? Seeing the kids they brought with them! Adorable. It was just wonderful.
We also went to Tom and Louise’s backyard for a cookout and a movie. Louise said to bring something we had around the house that we wanted to eat up. I found all of the ingredients for a taco dip, except one, but by the time I found almost everything, I really wanted to eat taco dip, so I went to the store for sour cream. We watched Joe Versus the Volcano, in our quest to see all of Tom Hanks’ movies. We all really enjoyed it. What fun to see Tom and Meg Ryan in their first movie together. So young! It was a beautiful, cool night and we cuddled under blankets, enjoying the crazy July coolness.
