*********Survivor spoilers! Stop now if you haven’t seen the finale!!*********************
Tonight was the finale of Survivor season 43, and I cried. It’s been a kinda tame season – no one to hate, no one to really love. For some reason, the challenges have seemed really, really good, but for the most part the plotting and planning hasn’t been too exciting. Tonight, that all changed. It was simply the best final tribal council ever. They got out the guy that was going to win if we went to final three, and then the final three all seemed like they had legitimate reasons they might win. The questioning by the jury was so interesting. Everyone had great answers to good questions and I honestly had no idea who would win. It also seemed long – not as in too long, but as in long enough to have actual conversations and hear everyone out. Perfect! Gabler won and I was delighted. Then he gave the million dollars he won away to help mental health for veterans and I cried. That’s good TV.
(Added bonus: watching all the school closures scroll along the bottom on the school. Kids may love a snow day, but teachers like them more!) (We’re not closed. But it sure was fun to watch.)
Over here in Eau Claire, EVERYTHING is going to be closed tomorrow… Lots of yucky stuff is coming down, and apparently there will be a lot more. Looking like our plans are going to change – we’ll just be hanging tight with our friends and playing a different brand of “Survivor.” Hoping we can get out and about on Friday before we head back to Michigan on Saturday. Hope it’s a good day at school tomorrow!
Snow day after all! Wheeeeee
I’m glad I stayed up until 1015 to see who won survivor. Otherwise I would have read it hear. I’m glad he’s giving it away but not sure he should have won. I need to watch what happened after he won later today. On the west coast survivor doesn’t start until 8 pm…
Oh my goodness!!! Talk about being too tired to think!!! I completely forgot about spoilers! Augh!!! I am so glad I didn’t wreck it for you. That would have been awful. We watched the last six weeks on Thursday because of glass class and I never thought about spoiling it for anyone 🤦♀️
