About 6 weeks ago, the company that provides substitutes for our school district announced an incentive program. They had one last spring that gave us the opportunity to work lots of Mondays and Fridays and for special ed departments to earn bonuses. I got several. It was fun. This year was a bit less – work five straight Mondays or Fridays and get your name put into a drawing for a $100 gas gift card.
And I won. I was already scheduled to work all of the Mondays and Fridays through the end of the year (wait, no, not next Monday. I have seen no one put in an advance absence for the penultimate day of school), so it didn’t incentivize me to work more, but it was fun to win. There was a card for me at work when I got there today and inside was the gift card.
Yay winning. I continue to have a charmed life.

I’ve always been curious how many subs there are. Now I’m curious how many were in the drawing. Could have been just me 🙂
Knowing how many in the drawing would be fun. If it’s just a couple more maybe you could share.
There is a drawing next week for those who worked the five Mondays and Fridays. If I win again, I’ll know it was just me 😂
