If only there was some way for people to indicate which direction they were planning to turn their car.
That is an Alexander quote, which he is prone to say whenever someone randomly maneuvers their car in traffic. Why is it so hard for people to use their blinkers? I actually use mine when the road bends. The steering wheel is turning, I should be blinkering. If someone is behind me and notices before I flip it back, they know I am going to follow the road (always a good idea). Maybe using signals/blinkers/indicators (whatever your choice is) wouldn’t save a lot of lives, maybe it isn’t the most important part of driving, but maybe it is. I think it would make things a lot nicer. And it’s easy. Why is it so hard?
When I see an aggressive driver – someone who has to zoom up to or away from a stop – someone who has to go 40mph in a 30 zone – someone switching lanes back and forth to grab the 5 extra seconds it will get them – I am so glad (SO GLAD) that my life is not that stressful, not that hurried, not that thoughtless. That even if I am late, I understand the math of speed and distance and can still travel safely. I understand that there is no text that needs to be looked at while I am driving (get pimentos too while you’re at the store – I’ll see it when I get to the store. If I’ve already left the store, I’ve already left the store). If the text is more serious than that, I don’t need to know it while I am driving. I’ll know it when I get where I am going.
I hope you travel safely.
They might not know they’re out of blinker fluid. That is a Karen quote.
That is perfect!
I like it, Nancy!!!
Me, too!
