We got our new induction stove today. We gave electric a try…okay, just because we were too busy to get to the store, then had to wait a week for delivery. Three guys brought it and installed it. Within three minutes of them driving away, Keith was taking it out and re-installing it. It has a bracket to keep it from tipping, and it was in very crooked – one side smashed into the counter in the back, the other side 1/4″ away. It didn’t take him long. Then he leveled it, with my amazing help of saying, “uh, a little, a liiiiitle, STOP”.
It was a beautiful, cold day (90 yesterday, 55 today) and I thought I should put something in the new oven! I didn’t know what and that was too hard, so we went to Tono. It’s Tuesday!
I unpacked at least 6 boxes – three big ones! – and moved a lot of things around. I really feel like we are on the edge of things starting to look like we live here and there hasn’t been a natural disaster. It’s the last day of school tomorrow and I am going because someone asked. 🙂
