Today was the last day of school before winter break! Woohoo. I was at my favorite elementary school, not doing a lot in special ed. I only had groups in the morning because the afternoon was for fun. One kid didn’t want to do the party, so he hung out with me and did crafts. It was pretty great just to let him have time to enjoy himself, instead of encouraging him to go to “enjoy” himself in a way that was not his idea of fun. He crafted, I assisted while doing some filing for the regular teacher.
I have been seeing ads for Arby’s every time I play solitaire, which is every day. I had worked up quite a craving for Arby sauce, so after we went grocery shopping (not a good idea to go hungry, but the store was going to close before we could finish eating. We bought A LOT of stuff) we ate roast beef sandwiches with so much sauce. Delicious.
Today’s POTD was actually sent to us by Jerry Jerry (with photo credit to friend Milt Schimke). He was quite taken (as were we) by how much it looked like we were really looking into their garage. I really liked it, so now you can see it too.
