We went to see Inside Out 2 (I really like when movie people can think of more clever titles for sequels than just putting a 2 at the end. I have no suggestions for this one, but they are clever people. There is one, I’m sure). We had popcorn and we really liked the movie – total win.
Jeffrey, Johanna, and Adalynn came over for swimming. We haven’t seen them for months and they popped Adalynn out of her carseat and she was a little person – walking around and saying things and being adorable. She went to one swimming lesson and she is INTO SWIMMING. She caught sight of the pool and immediately said Barba’s pool! She patiently waited while we cooked some pizza for swimming time. At one point she stood in front of the deck door and patted the glass and stomped her foot and whispered, “poooool.” I would watch it a lot of times if I had a video.
Her smiles were huge!! She stretches out and swims – with her mommy helping her – and puts her face in the water and everything. It was so much fun to watch. Jeffrey and I were wimpy and thought the water felt cold at first. Adalyn popped right in and went for it! I believe this is the first of many swimming times!
