Keith saw on Facebook that the wife of one of his friends was in a community theater production, so we decided to go. There were over 100 kids in the show, and they announced that everyone had at least one line – and they did! There were bats (man, kids can make really good bat squeaky sounds) and villagers and bog monsters and gnomes and laundry that came to life. It was very cute. The friend’s wife (Katie) was Morgan le Fey, the main baddie. She didn’t show up until the last scene and was on stage for less than 5 minutes, but it mattered not – we had an amusing evening.
