I just wrote Friday and then stared and stared and stared because all I could think of to write next was Saturday and I knew that wasn’t right. Oooof.
Keith played a concert with the Lake Wobegon Brass Band tonight at St. Thomas University. There was as cool sculpture in the lobby of the building. We enjoyed looking and looking inside.
The band played very well, but I didn’t care for any of the tunes on the first half.
I chatted with Dick Miller (organizer of the band that travels to Europe) and he said he got an email from Brugges, Belgium, today. (The next trip is going to be to the Netherlands and Belgium, next summer.) Dick was organizing a lunchtime concert in the park and Brugges said it watched the band on Youtube and they are so excited that they want an evening concert. Dick suggested they could sell tickets and donate the money to their favorite charity. Brugges said no tickets, because they want the whole town to come. 🙂 That sounds great!
